We are looking for a Fitter / Machine Assembly Fitter responsible for mechanical assembly, fitting, alignment, trial, installation, and commissioning of Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) and automation equipment. Qualification & Experience

- ITI Fitter / Machinist / Mechanical preferred
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering can also be considered
- Experience: 1–5 years preferred
- Experience in SPM, automation machines, assembly lines, fixtures, or machine building preferred
- Fresh ITI candidates can be considered for junior fitter positions with positive practical skills.

Required Technical Skills
- Ability to read and understand mechanical/assembly drawings
- Good knowledge of mechanical fitting and machine assembly
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- Linear guides and linear bearings
- Ball screws
- Bearings, shafts and couplings
- Gearboxes and motors
- Pneumatic cylinders and valves
- Conveyors, fixtures and machine structures
- Ability to perform drilling, tapping, grinding, cutting and filing
- Knowledge of machine alignment, leveling and precision fitting




- Ability to use Vernier caliper, micrometer, dial gauge, measuring tape and other measuring instruments
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics and tubing
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems. JobLeads

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble complete SPM machines and sub-assemblies according to drawings and BOM.
- Fit mechanical components with proper alignment and accuracy.
- Install bearings, linear guides, ball screws, motors, gearboxes, cylinders and other machine components.
- Carry out drilling, tapping, grinding and other fitting work.
- Perform pneumatic tubing and installation of pneumatic components.
- Check dimensions, alignment, free movement and assembly quality.
- Identify drawing, component and assembly-related problems and report them to the concerned team.
- Coordinate with Mechanical Design, Electrical, PLC and Production teams during machine trials.
- Support machine trial runs and rectify mechanical problems.
- Participate in machine installation and commissioning at customer sites.
- Attend machine breakdowns and mechanical troubleshooting when required

Pay: ₹19,273.84 - ₹29,065.96 per month
