About DroneStark

DroneStark Technologies is an Indian drone and robotics company developing unmanned systems for defence, public safety, industrial and specialised applications.

Our work spans surveillance, heavy-lift, high-altitude, autonomous and next-generation UAV technologies.

We're looking for a Marketing & Communications Intern who can help us turn the technology, engineering, testing and deployments happening inside DroneStark into strong content and visibility.

You don't need to understand drones or defence from day one.

We'll help you understand the technology. You should know how to communicate and market it.

What You'll Work On

You'll work directly with the DroneStark team across:

Content & Social Media

- Create content for LinkedIn, Instagram and other relevant channels
- Shoot and edit photos and short-form videos
- Create reels from flight tests, products, events and behind-the-scenes activity
- Write captions, posts, blogs and website content
- Help maintain a consistent content calendar
- Find compelling stories from our engineering, products and deployments

SEO & Website
- Research relevant keywords and search trends
- Help write SEO-focused blogs and website content
- Work on basic on-page SEO
- Learn to use tools such as Google Search Console and Analytics
- Research competitor content and search presence

PR & Communications
- Research relevant journalists, publications and media opportunities
- Help identify stories that could generate media interest
- Assist with press releases, media pitches and company profiles




- Track DroneStark and competitor media coverage

Creative & Video
- Shoot usable content using a phone/camera
- Edit photographs and videos
- Create short-form videos and reels
- Create simple graphics and social-media creatives
- Turn raw engineering/testing footage into engaging content

Research & Opportunities
- Follow developments across drones, defence, aerospace and deep-tech
- Research competitors and how they market themselves
- Identify relevant exhibitions, conferences, awards and speaking opportunities
- Bring new marketing and content ideas to the team

AI-Enabled Marketing Use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and other AI platforms for research, ideation, writing, SEO, content development and improving marketing workflows.

AI should help you work faster — but you'll still be expected to think, write and create.

Skills We're Looking For

You don't need to be an expert in everything,



but you should have a good foundation in several of these areas:

- Marketing fundamentals
- Content writing
- Social-media content
- LinkedIn and Instagram
- Reels / short-form video
- Basic video editing
- Basic photo editing
- Canva or similar creative tools
- SEO fundamentals
- Blog/article writing
- PR and media research
- AI tools for marketing

Knowledge of tools such as Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Google Analytics, Search Console or SEO tools is useful.

What Matters Most

We're looking for someone who is:

Creative. Curious. Good with communication. Comfortable with technology. Willing to learn. And capable of actually creating things.

You should be comfortable picking up a phone/camera when something interesting is happening, capturing it, understanding the story and figuring out how to turn it into useful content.

We don't want someone who only waits for instructions about what to post.

If you see a drone completing an interesting flight test, we'd like you to think:

“This is worth documenting. What's the story, how should we present it, and who should see it?”
