Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Tender, Procurement & Commercial (Electrical) to lead and manage tendering, estimation, electrical procurement, vendor coordination, commercial activities, and project-related documentation.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Electrical Procurement, Tendering, BOQ/BOM analysis, costing, pricing, vendor management, commercial negotiations, and project coordination. The role requires the ability to independently handle tender opportunities from document review through

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end electrical Government tendering, including tender review, documentation, BOQ analysis, pricing, and online submission.
- Prepare estimates, BOQ/BOM, rate analysis, cost sheets, and commercial proposals for electrical projects.
- Manage electrical procurement of cables, panels, transformers, switchgear, LT/HT equipment, solar components, and related materials.
- Source and evaluate vendors, obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate price, quality, payment, and delivery terms.
- Review technical specifications, SLDs, drawings, BOQs, and tender requirements and coordinate with Engineering and Project teams.
- Prepare and manage RFQs, Purchase Orders, Work Orders, and procurement documentation.
- Monitor material requirements, delivery schedules, quality, and project procurement timelines.
- Handle commercial activities including cost control, billing support, payment terms, variations, and commercial negotiations.




- Coordinate with vendors, clients, consultants, site teams, Finance, Engineering, and Management for timely project execution.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, specifications, contractual requirements, and safety procedures.
- Maintain tender, procurement, vendor, and commercial records and provide periodic status reports to Management.
- Lead and guide the Government Tender, Procurement & Commercial team to achieve departmental targets and deadlines.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Tendering, Estimation & Costing.
- Hands-on experience in Electrical Procurement & Vendor Management.
- Good understanding of BOQ, BOM, SLD, electrical specifications, and drawings.
- Knowledge of LT/HT electrical systems and electrical equipment.
- Experience in preparing comparative statements, rate analysis, cost sheets, and price bids.
- Strong negotiation and commercial management skills.
- Understanding of EPC / Electrical / Power / Solar project procurement.
- Knowledge of tender portals and online tender submission processes.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and ERP/procurement software.
- Ability to analyse technical and commercial tender documents.
- Strong documentation, analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in Electrical EPC, Power, Solar, Industrial Electrical Projects, Infrastructure, Government/Private Tenders, or Electrical Contracting will be preferred.

Experience in handling end-to-end Government tendering, electrical material procurement, vendor negotiations, estimation, pricing, and commercial closure will be an advantage.

Compensation

CTC: ₹7–8 LPA, depending on relevant experience, skills, and suitability.

Preferred: Immediate Joiner / Short Notice Candidate

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
