About the Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will anchor the company's most critical initiatives: capacity expansions, operational excellence programs, and cross-business-unit improvements. You will turn strategic priorities into delivered results across our plants in India and our international operations. This is an operator's role at the centre of a newly listed, quick-growing engineering company.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver growth and expansion projects — own execution of capex programs, including new capacity, machinery and facility builds, from planning through commissioning, on time and within budget.

- Drive capacity and productivity — improve asset utilisation, throughput and cost across manufacturing units, working with plant and BU heads.

- Strengthen working capital and cash flow — lead initiatives across inventory, order-to-cash and procurement to improve the cash conversion cycle.

- Build supply chain resilience — work with procurement on vendor development, dual sourcing and long-term supply arrangements for critical raw materials.

- Improve order-to-delivery execution — strengthen S&OP; and project delivery for large project and OEM orders.

- Support international operations — coordinate initiatives with overseas subsidiaries and JV partners.

- Run the operating rhythm — set up project governance, dashboards and review cadence so the MD and board have a clear, current view of progress on strategic commitments.

- Act as the MD's extension — prepare board and leadership materials, build business cases for new opportunities, and follow through on decisions across functions.

Required Qualifications





- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Industrial Engineering — technical fluency matters given our products are sensors, heaters and cables.

- 3+ years in manufacturing operations, operations strategy, or program management in an engineering or industrial company.

- A record of taking initiatives from concept to measurable results across multiple functions.

- Working knowledge of operations, supply chain and quality management.

- Strong analytical and financial skills, including building and defending business cases.

- Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- MBA in Operations or Strategy from a reputed institute.

- Experience with capex projects, plant expansions or greenfield/brownfield setups.

- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, TPM or S&OP.;

- Experience in a listed company, or one preparing for listing.

- Exposure to international operations, JVs or overseas partners.

- Background in industrial products: instrumentation, cables, electrical equipment, process industries.

- Comfortable on the shop floor as well as in a board review; brings structure to ambiguity, moves fast without losing rigour, and measures success by outcomes delivered.
