Job Purpose To plan, schedule, monitor, and control production activities to ensure that machinery and components are manufactured on time, within the required quality standards, and with optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and resources.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, delivery schedules, inventory, and production capacity.
- Study Bill of Materials (BOM), engineering drawings, routing sheets, and material requirements before preparing production schedules.
- Coordinate with Design/Engineering, Purchase, Stores, Production, Quality, and Dispatch departments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Prepare and release work orders, production orders, job cards, and manufacturing schedules.
- Monitor production progress against planned quantities and delivery dates.
- Identify production delays, bottlenecks, material shortages,



machine breakdowns, and manpower constraints and coordinate corrective actions.
- Follow up with the Purchase and Stores departments for timely availability of raw materials, bought-out items, tools, and consumables.
- Plan machine loading and allocate jobs according to machine capacity, process requirements, and delivery priorities.
- Maintain production schedules and revise them when there are changes in customer requirements, material availability, or machine capacity.
- Coordinate with subcontractors/vendors for processes such as machining, fabrication, heat treatment, surface treatment, casting, or special processes, where applicable.
- Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) and ensure that jobs move through different manufacturing stages without unnecessary delays.
- Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure that inspection and testing are completed according to the production schedule.
- Coordinate with Assembly and Dispatch teams to ensure finished machines are completed and dispatched as per commitment.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
