Role & responsibilities

-HVAC Operation & Maintenance - Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff, Contractor workers/ operators. Train and develop operation & maintenance employees to meet the requirements for smooth operation & uninterrupted operation of HVAC systems & its maintenance Plan and oversee all repair, and installation activities. Daily observation and maintain records for HVAC operation and Filter cleaning/ replacement, etc.

Routine analysis and planning to improve the efficiency of HVAC system to reduce the power consumption.

-Prepare specifications for procurement of consumable materials and machineries to fulfill requirement of site and maintain stock of materials.

Documentation- Prepare Equipment qualification & validation documents (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, etc.) Engineering SOPs, GMP/ FDA Compliance Audit support, etc. documents.

-Make sure that the standard operating procedures are followed by the entire team. Track the audit observations and send compliance reports in stipulated time. To ensure the GEP standards being followed for engineering.

To ensure timely calibration, preventive maintenance and qualification/validation and certification from regulatory department. Checking & verification of bills of service provider venders for their supply & labor work. Preparation of P&IDs; and layout as per requirements.

Address engineering related audit observation and support RCA, CAPA and timely closure of compliance gaps.

-Utility Operation & Maintenance - Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff, Contractor workers/ operators. Train and develop operation & maintenance employees to meet the requirements for smooth operation & uninterrupted operation of Utility Equipments like Steam Boiler, Thermic Fluid Header, Air Compressor, Cooling Tower, Chilling Plant, RO/ DM water plant etc. Utilities operations & its maintenance Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.

Daily observation and maintain records for utility generation and fuel consumption, etc.



Prepare specifications for procurement of consumable materials and machineries to fulfill requirement of site and maintain stock of materials

- Planning & Execution - Plan and coordination with plant/ area in charge for plant maintenance activities in the facilities including analyzing equipment needs, reliability issues, preventive maintenance schedule and for major/ minor maintenance / modification/ breakdown maintenance of equipment
- Engineering Standards- Ensure that Ingredion corporate engineering standards for project management and engineering designs are implemented at the manufacturing sites

Additional Responsibilities

- Mechanical Maintenance - Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff, Contractor workers. Train and develop maintenance employees to meet the requirements with safety expectations. Manage relationships with external contractors and service provider. Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities. Ensure that designated buildings, plants and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required. Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations. Maintain all machinery to ensure its at working standard. Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems. Monitor hydraulic systems of facilities to ensure functionality
- Inventory & Control- Monitoring inventory of equipment, Piping materials, steel structure & consumable items to maintain the minimum stock & before planned activities and prepare specifications to place orders as required. Checking & Verification of materials/ equipments etc. as per specification define in placed order

Preferred candidate profile

- B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 4-6 years Work experience in Pharmaceutical/Specialty Chemical
- Knowledge of MS Office and Computer Literacy
- Preparing Daily Report for Maintenance and for Operation data of utility Equipments
- Influence in working with different stakeholders within a manufacturing facility within a matrix organization
- Flexibility & Agility within the organization, working at different manufacturing sites within India
