Role Overview

Head Maintenance will be responsible for the overall management of MEP operations,maintenance, projects, and engineering services, ensuring safe, reliable, efficient, and uninterrupted functioning of all critical infrastructure. The role leads MEP teams, vendors,projects, maintenance, safety, compliance, and cost optimization while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities l Lead operation, maintenance, reliability, and performance of all MEP & engineering systems, including Electrical, HVAC, Firefighting, ELV, BMS, Plumbing, DG, UPS, Substation, and utilities.

l Plan and monitor preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure reliability and minimum downtime.

l Manage breakdowns, emergency response, RCA, corrective actions, and critical system availability.

l Lead AMC/vendor/contractor management, spares, budgets, documentation, and cost control.

l Manage MEP projects from design review through execution, commissioning, snag closure, and handover.

l Ensure statutory, safety, fire, environmental, and regulatory compliance,



including audits and certifications.

l Drive energy efficiency, automation, utility optimization, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.

l Lead engineering teams through manpower planning, performance management, training, and competency development.

l Monitor KPIs, MIS, risks, and system performance and coordinate with consultants, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Qualification & Experience l Bachelors degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field; maintenance certifications are an advantage.

l 18-20+ years of relevant experience in MEP/engineering maintenance, with proven team leadership.

l Strong technical knowledge of maintenance, asset management, troubleshooting, CMMS, safety, and compliance.

l Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, budgeting, and stakeholder-management skills.

l Ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a energetic institutional environment.
