Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

- 5+ years of strong experience in Mainframe I/O Configuration.
- Expertise in HCD (Hardware Configuration Definition).Strong knowledge of IOCP (Input/Output Configuration Program).
- Experience in IOCDS generation and activation.Strong understanding of FICON architecture and channel subsystem design.
- DASD configuration and enterprise storage management.Experience with tape infrastructure and tape management solutions.
- IBM Z CPC hardware design and configuration.z/OS IPL planning, execution, and support.
- Channel path management and optimization.Hardware migration planning and execution.
- Awareness of GDPS environments and concepts.Disaster recovery configuration and business continuity planning.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 implementation, administration, and management.Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi administration and virtualization technologies.
- Public and private cloud management,



including migration from on-premises environments to cloud-based solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory administration and Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS).
- Vulnerability management, security compliance, and infrastructure hardening.
- Automation experience, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation and management
- Preferred Technical and Skilled Experience:
- IBM Z Mainframe Hardware and I/O Configuration certification or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong experience with IBM HCD (Hardware Configuration Definition) and IOCP (Input/Output Configuration Program).
- Experience with FICON Directors, SAN connectivity, and enterprise storage integration.Knowledge of IBM DASD technologies, including DS8000 and other enterprise storage platforms.
- Experience supporting IBM Z CPC upgrades, PR/SM, LPAR configurations, and processor migrations.
- Familiarity with GDPS, disaster recovery planning, and high-availability solutions.
- Experience with z/OS IPL processes, HMC administration, and system activation procedures.
- Knowledge of Parallel Sysplex and multi-site mainframe environments.
- Experience with hardware migration planning and data center transformation projects.
- Familiarity with automation, scripting, and configuration management tools.Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation technologies.
