About the Role

CogniForge Technologies is looking for a hands-on Machine Vision Developer with practical experience in developing and deploying industrial vision applications.

The ideal candidate should be able to take a vision project from image acquisition and algorithm development to customer deployment and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop industrial machine vision applications for inspection, measurement, detection and quality control.
- Work with industrial cameras, lenses, lighting and image acquisition systems.
- Develop vision algorithms using Python/C++ and OpenCV.
- Work on:

- Pattern/Shape Matching
- Object Detection & Classification
- Segmentation
- Presence/Absence Inspection
- Counting & Sorting
- OCR/OCV
- Surface Inspection
- Develop and deploy AI/Deep Learning-based vision solutions using YOLO, PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar frameworks.
- Perform camera calibration, image preprocessing, ROI configuration and algorithm optimization.
- Build solutions that are reliable, repeatable and suitable for industrial production environments.
- Conduct machine trials, customer demos, site installations and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot vision systems at customer sites and improve inspection accuracy and stability.
- Understand customer requirements and convert them into practical vision solutions.
- Work with engineering and customer teams to deliver projects end-to-end.




- Prepare basic technical documentation and project reports.

Required Skills
- 1.5–3 years of hands-on Machine Vision / Computer Vision experience.
- Robust Python and OpenCV skills.
- Practical experience with industrial cameras and machine vision systems.
- Good understanding of camera resolution, lens selection, working distance and lighting.
- Experience developing and deploying real-world vision applications.
- Experience with AI/Deep Learning for computer vision is preferred.
- Experience with industrial inspection/measurement projects is highly preferred.
- Ability to independently debug and improve vision applications.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact directly with customers.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for trials and deployment.

Preferred Experience
- HALCON / Cognex / Keyence / VisionPro or similar vision platforms.
- GigE / USB3 industrial cameras.
- Telecentric lenses and precision measurement.
- Defect detection and surface inspection.
- Automotive/manufacturing inspection applications.

- Experience handling projects from development → testing → deployment → customer acceptance.

Who We Are Looking For We are not looking for someone with only academic/project or basic YOLO experience.

We want someone who has actually worked on industrial machine vision projects, visited customer sites, solved real-world image/lighting/accuracy issues and can take ownership of a vision application from development to deployment.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
