Role Description The Senior DevOps Head will lead the end-to-end DevOps strategy and operations for CresitaTech IT Solutions in Hyderabad.



This full-time, in office role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring systems to ensure reliable and scalable software delivery. The role involves overseeing cloud and on-premise environments, guiding teams on best practices for deployment, performance, and security, and collaborating closely with development and QA teams to streamline releases.

The Senior

DevOps Head will manage and mentor DevOps engineers, establish standards and documentation, and continuously refine processes to improve system uptime, incident response, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline design, version control, and automated build and deployment processes.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and configuration management in production environments.
- Hands-on expertise with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable application deployment.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services for networking, storage, and security.
- Background in monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk) to maintain system health and reliability.
- Demonstrated experience leading DevOps or infrastructure teams, mentoring staff, and defining technical standards and best practices.
- Solid understanding of security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery principles within DevOps and infrastructure contexts.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with engineering, product, and leadership stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a senior DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure leadership role is highly beneficial.
