Job Summary A hospital linen supervisor manages daily laundry and textile operations, ensuring clinical departments have a continuous supply of clean, safe, and hygienic linens. The supervisor oversees staff, monitors inventory, and enforces strict hygiene and infection control standards for all hospital textiles, including bed sheets, surgical drapes, and patient gowns.

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

- Daily Operations: Supervise the collection, sorting, washing, ironing, folding, and distribution of hospital linens across wards, intensive care units (ICUs), and operation theatres (OTs).
- Infection Control: Enforce hospital and regulatory standards for handling infected or soiled linen to prevent contamination.
- Inventory Control: Track stock levels,



conduct regular stock audits, and order replacement textiles or supplies as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect processed linens for cleanliness and damage, routing worn items for repair or condemnation.
- Staff Management: Train, schedule, and evaluate linen room attendants and laundry staff.
- Department Coordination: Partner with nursing, housekeeping, and medical teams to address special requests and resolve supply shortages.

Skill Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Ay Degree / Diploma or Equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in healthcare support, housekeeping, or commercial laundry operations.
- Core Skills: Robust leadership, organization, knowledge of safety protocols, and familiarity with industrial laundry equipment.
