LIMS Consultant / Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled professionals with experience in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) platforms such as LabWare, LabVantage, and STARLIMS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, customizing, integrating, and supporting LIMS solutions for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, life sciences, food, chemical, and manufacturing organizations.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement, configure, and support LIMS solutions based on business requirements.
- Develop and customize workflows, forms, reports, and interfaces within LabWare, LabVantage, or STARLIMS.
- Configure sample management, test management, and laboratory workflows.
- Integrate LIMS with ERP, MES, ELN, chromatography, and other enterprise systems.
- Perform data migration, validation, and system upgrades.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics for laboratory operations.
- Support system testing, deployment, and production activities.
- Troubleshoot application and performance issues.
- Create functional and technical documentation.




- Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as FDA, GxP, GMP, and 21 CFR Part 11.

Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in LIMS platforms (LabWare, LabVantage, or STARLIMS).
- Experience in LIMS implementation, customization, and support.
- Knowledge of laboratory workflows and sample lifecycle management.
- Experience with SQL, database management, and reporting.
- Knowledge of system integration using APIs, web services, or middleware.
- Understanding of validation and compliance requirements.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical, or Food industries.
- Knowledge of GxP, GMP, GLP, and FDA regulations.
- Exposure to cloud-based LIMS platforms.
- Experience with data migration and modernization projects.
- Relevant LabWare, LabVantage, or STARLIMS certifications are an added advantage.

Educational Qualification
- BE/B.Tech/MCA/B.Sc/M.Sc or equivalent qualification.
