Role: Liferay Developer

Job Requirements*

- Solid experience in Liferay DXP (7.x preferred)

Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate Hands-on experience with Liferay MVC Portlet development and OSGi framework

Experience with Service Builder and REST APIs

Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular)

Familiarity with application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic)

Understanding of database systems (SQL Server)

Experience working in Agile methodologies and Git version control

Key Responsibilities*

Design, develop, and implement solutions on Liferay DXP/Portal platform

Build and customize modules, portlets, themes, and layouts

Develop REST/SOAP integrations with external systems

Work with Service Builder, MVC framework, and OSGi modules

Customize Liferay features such as Workflows, Web Content, and User Management

Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning

Collaborate with UI/UX, backend, and DevOps teams

Ensure security, scalability, and high availability

Handle Liferay upgrades and migrations

Maintain technical documentation and best practices
