Position : Legal Officer / Legal Head / Legal Manager

K Corp is hiring a Kochi-based in-house legal qualified to lead legal work across its businesses, with primary responsibility for K Granites and additional work for its subsidiaries & Kochi Kochu. This is an individual-contributor role reporting directly to the CEO. The right person can draft well, manage Kerala land matters, coordinate external advocates and turn difficult legal questions into practical, lawful decisions.

Eligibility Criteria

- LL.B. degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong legal drafting and documentation skills, with demonstrated experience in Kerala land and property matters.
- Proficiency in reading and writing Malayalam and English.
- Experience in coordinating with external legal counsel in Kerala and independently handling legal matters.
- Strong judgement, integrity, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel within Kerala as and when required.
- Bar Council enrolment will be an added advantage.
- Experience in the relevant industry/sector is desirable but not mandatory.

Job Role:-

- Draft and negotiate agreements, work orders,



leases, notices and settlement documents.
- Lead Kerala land and property due diligence, documentation and registration support.
- Coordinate responses to authorities and manage litigation, recovery and external advocates.
- Advise business teams on operational decisions, maintain legal deadlines and identify workable legal options.
- Work across multiple business lines, including physical operations and consumer-facing commercial activity.
