We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Associate – Real Estate to support the legal and documentation requirements of the organization. The candidate will be responsible for handling real estate documentation, property due diligence, agreements, registrations, compliance, legal research, and coordination with external lawyers and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct legal due diligence of properties, land documents, title documents, and ownership records.

- Review and draft Sale Agreements, Sale Deeds, Lease Agreements, Leave License Agreements, MoUs, Builder-Buyer Agreements, and other property-related documents.

- Verify property title, ownership, encumbrances, permissions, approvals, and statutory documents.

- Conduct legal research on real estate laws, RERA, registration, stamp duty, land laws, and applicable regulations.

- Assist in preparing legal notices, replies, affidavits, undertakings, declarations, and other legal documents.

- Coordinate with advocates, consultants, property owners, brokers, government departments, and other stakeholders.

- Assist in property registration, mutation, conveyance, and other documentation processes.





- Maintain proper records of agreements, property documents, legal cases, notices, and correspondence.

- Track litigation matters and coordinate with external counsel for court/tribunal proceedings.

- Review contracts and identify legal risks, liabilities, and compliance requirements.

- Support the organization in resolving property-related disputes and documentation issues.

- Ensure timely renewal and compliance of leases, licenses, agreements, and statutory documentation.

- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal and property-related information.

- Provide legal support to the business and management as required.

Qualifications

- LLB (Mandatory) | LLM preferred

- 3 years legal experience, with minimum 2 years in construction/real estate in Goa or Western region

- Proven track record in land legalities, statutory approvals, and arbitration cases

Additional Information

- Frequent travel to project sites within Goa

- Ability to handle multilingual communication (English, Hindi, Konkani preferred)
