To reduce/maintain risk at current levels and improve portfolio quality, leading to lower losses.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Accountabilities associated with the job)

- Effective team and stakeholder management.
- Regular engagement with cross functional team.
- End to end understanding of loss projections in terms of AOP, recalibrated estimations done on a monthly basis using bounce/collection inputs/trends.
- Responsible for analyzing departmental risk policies, portfolio analysis, policy audits, bounce analysis, and new customer acquisition analysis.
- Regular engagement with stakeholders to identify current business opportunities and take policy actions on marginal segments.
- Active engagement with RCU team to maintain controls on fraud accounts at acquisition levels. Understanding past trends and building fraud trigger mechanisms.
- Required system changes and controls to be explored and integrated into the system.
- Review Risk review and operating deck with the team and provide insights which will lead to improved portfolio quality.
- Risk management, process enhancement, business analysis, and data analysis,



taking proactive corrective actions based on portfolio performance.
- Understanding of SQL and automated BI reports to execute required outcomes.
- Monitor risk metrics, highlight any stress/trends, and simulate on historical data for projecting the impact of proposals.
- Ensuring policies are aligned to customer requirements and capture the right segments mix to help meet targeted business volumes and budgeted loss rates.

Required Qualifications and ExperienceSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE (Minimum acceptable proficiency for this job which best indicates the education and/or experience requirements of this job and not the incumbent)

Educational Qualifications

- a) Qualifications: Post-graduate degree

Prior knowledge of SQL

- b) Work Experience: 8+ years of underwriting/Risk for unsecured products

Experience in stakeholder management and team management.
