Designcafe is looking to hire Lead - Offline Customer acquisition(PAN INDIA).
DesignCafe is looking for a high-ownership Offline Customer Acquisition Leader to own and scale our offline acquisition engine across key markets in India. This role will be responsible for driving a significant share of DesignCafe's customer acquisition and revenue through Channel Partners, B2B partnerships, offline events & expos, society activations, direct referrals and emerging offline acquisition channels.
The role goes beyond executing marketing activities. You will be expected to build the strategy, identify new growth opportunities, test new acquisition models, build scalable systems and SOPs, and lead a multi-city team to deliver sustainable growth while maintaining a healthy CAC.
This is an ideal role for someone who is equal parts strategic and tactical, someone who can think 2-3 quarters ahead about market expansion, manpower, channel strategy and growth bets, while also being comfortable getting into the field and making things happen.
What You'll Own:
1. Own the Offline Acquisition Channel(end to end)
- Own the overall strategy, growth and performance of DesignCafe's offline customer acquisition channel.
- Drive acquisition through Channel Partners, B2B partnerships, events & expos, society activations, direct referrals and new offline initiatives.
- Build the annual and quarterly roadmap for offline acquisition across existing and new markets.
- Identify opportunities to increase the contribution of offline acquisition to overall business revenue.
2. Think Ahead & Build the Channel for Scale
- Think 2–3 quarters ahead, rather than only managing the current month's targets.
- Build manpower plans based on market potential, acquisition targets and expected channel growth.
- Identify new cities, markets and micro-markets for expansion and build the business case for entering them.
- Plan future acquisition engines, partnerships and initiatives before they become business requirements.
- Build scalable frameworks that allow the channel to grow without proportionately increasing cost and complexity.
3. Build & Lead a Multi-City Team
- Lead, coach and develop a geographically distributed offline acquisition team across major Indian metros.
- Set clear city-level goals, acquisition targets and productivity benchmarks.
- Build the right team structure, hiring plans, roles and incentive/variable-pay frameworks.
- Create a culture of ownership, experimentation, data-driven decision making and execution.
- Ensure consistency in processes and performance while allowing teams to adapt to local market realities.
4. Own CAC & Growth Economics This is one of the most important parts of the role.
You will be expected to think beyond "How many leads did we generate?" and instead ask:
"What did it cost us to acquire these customers, what quality of customers did we acquire, and can this model scale profitably?"
- Own offline acquisition CAC and continuously identify opportunities to improve it.
- Evaluate channels based on cost → leads → Meetings → signup → NSV/revenue.
- Track channel-level and city-level acquisition economics.
- Balance aggressive growth targets with sustainable CAC.
- Identify high-performing acquisition sources and redirect investments accordingly.
- Build business cases for new initiatives based on expected acquisition cost, conversion and revenue potential.
What Success Looks Like In this role, success would mean:
- Offline continues to become a meaningful and scalable contributor to DesignCafe's overall revenue.
- Recent acquisition channels are continuously identified, tested and scaled.
- Successful pilots evolve into repeatable, SOP-driven acquisition engines.
- New cities can be launched with a transparent people + partnership + acquisition + economics playbook.
- The team consistently delivers against acquisition and revenue goals.
- CAC remains healthy as the channel scales.
- The business has visibility into where the next quarter and next year's growth will come from.
- Offline acquisition becomes less dependent on individual relationships and more dependent on repeatable systems and scalable processes.
