Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer Level 3 & Level 4 with 8+ years of experience in enterprise and data center networking environments. The role is responsible for supporting network operations, infrastructure refresh projects, migration activities, configuration management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and validation across DC network environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Validate network device inventory, interface mappings, and topology documentation.
- Support Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, and Arista routing & switching environments.
- Execute software/hardware upgrades, and configuration changes during maintenance windows.
- Perform change implementation activities.
- Monitor and validate BGP, OSPF, VLANs, Port Channels, VRFs, TACACS+, RADIUS, SNMP, and Syslog services.
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, optics, hardware, and connectivity-related incidents.
- Engage vendor support teams such as Cisco TAC, Arista TAC and Palo Alto TAC when required.
- Maintain operational documentation, availability reports, and change records.
- Provide Level 3 operational support and assist with incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Ability to coordinate with server, storage, and application teams during incident resolution and maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of IP configuration, DNS settings, hostname management, and network interface configuration on Windows and Linux servers.
- Familiarity with basic Linux commands for system monitoring, log analysis,



file management, and network troubleshooting.
- Understanding Windows services, Event Viewer, and basic administrative tasks.
- Ability to verify server reachability using tools such as Ping, Traceroute, Telnet, SSH, and RDP.
- Led a team, if required.

Required Technical Skills

- Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst, Arista switches
- Routing & Switching: BGP, OSPF, STP, VLAN, VPC, VRF, Port Channel
- Operating Systems: Cisco NX-OS and Arista EOS
- Network Services: TACACS+, RADIUS, AAA, SNMP, Syslog, NTP, SSH
- Data Center Networking, OOB Management Networks, Console Servers
- Change Management, Maintenance Window Execution, Rollback Planning
- Tools: PuTTY, WinSCP, SFTP, Excel, ServiceNow, ITRS, Elastic
- Basic scripting knowledge using PowerShell or Bash (Preferred)
- Understanding server monitoring tools and alert management
- Familiarity with backup and recovery concepts
- Exposure to cloud-hosted Windows/Linux virtual machines (Azure or AWS) is an added advantage

Required Experience

- 8+ years of hands-on Network Engineering experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise or data center network environments.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst platforms.
- Experience performing network upgrades, migrations, and refresh activities.
- Knowledge of production support, incident resolution, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Experience in post-change validation and configuration management.

Preferred Courses

CCNA, CCNP, ITIL Foundation.
