About the role

Kalawati Steels has sold steel and building material in Varanasi for over 35 years. You bring in contractors, masons, builders and retail buyers at our Bachhaon branch, and you keep them buying. Half the day at the counter, half on the road around Bachhaon. No scripts. You learn what the customer is building and get our steel onto that site.

Work location: Kalawati Steels, Bachhaon, Varanasi. Interview at Head Office, Varanasi.

Full time, permanent, 6 days a week.

What you will do

1. Handle walk-in customers: understand the requirement, recommend the right grade and size, quote from the approved rate list and close the sale.
2. Visit construction sites, contractors, masons, engineers and small builders in the Bachhaon area.
3. Maintain a live list of active sites: who is building, what stage, how much steel is coming, who supplies them now.
4. Turn enquiries into quotations with the CRM handler and follow through to order.
5. Meet monthly volume and collection targets. A sale is closed only when it is paid.
6.



Report competitor rates and schemes every week.
7. Log every visit, call and enquiry in the CRM the same day.

Who we want
1. Civil diploma or civil engineering graduate strongly preferred. Someone who already understands TMT grades, bar sizes, slab and column steel, and can talk site language with a contractor or engineer.
2. Graduate in any stream, or 12th pass with real field sales experience, will also be considered.
3. 0 to 3 years. Freshers with a civil background and hunger for field work are welcome.
4. Fluent Hindi and Bhojpuri.
5. Own two-wheeler with a valid licence is essential.
6. Comfortable outdoors all day.
