Job Summary A Junior Merchandiser supports the merchandising team in order processing, vendor coordination, production follow-ups, and documentation. The role ensures timely execution of buyer orders, quality compliance, and smooth communication between suppliers, production units, and buyers.

Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Management

- Assist in processing buyer orders and sample approvals
- Maintain order sheets, costing sheets, and product details
- Track purchase orders and delivery schedules

Vendor Coordination

- Communicate with fabric suppliers, trim vendors, and factories
- Follow up for material sourcing and sample delivery
- Monitor vendor performance and timelines

Sampling & Development

- Track sample development (fit, size sets, PPS, photo samples)
- Coordinate alterations and approvals
- Maintain sample records and dispatch details





Production Follow-up

- Track production stages: cutting, stitching, finishing, packing
- Report daily production progress
- Identify delays and escalate issues

Quality Control Support

- Ensure buyer specifications are followed
- Coordinate with QC team for inspections
- Report defects and re-approval processes

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain records: style files, order books, invoices, shipment logs
- Create reports for production status and order tracking
- Handle buyer email communication under supervision
