What a typical day looks like:

- Enter and maintain component data and manufacturer information approved vendor lists in global component database.

- Create a component database for all the Electrical/Electronic Indirect materials Quality review of the component parameter attributes from datasheets.

- Validate MPN and provide Alternates

- Monitor Component EOL and manage the component obsolescence Part of a cross-functional team in implementing product component changes within the Company

- Work closely with Engineering and materials teams to review product updates / modifications

- Respond to Business Partner (requestor) and customer on queries relating to Component specifications

- Ensure adherence to targets set for all Process Metrics

- Ensure timely generation and circulation of reports / dashboards.

- Train new and existing team members on an ongoing basis on relevant tools or topics.

- Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues.

- Identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of procurement processes

- Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in processes.

The experience were looking to add to our team:

B. E(ECE/EEE/EI) graduate with (0-2) years of experience as a Component Engineer in Manufacturing set up, preferably in EMS industry

Versatile to work in night shifts.

Hands on experience in the following domains

NPI (New Product Introduction)



- BOM (Bill of Materials) Management

Semiconductor sourcing/Analysis

Working Knowledge of ERP, preferably BAAN

Hands on Experience in any PLM software

Should have good Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point Word skills

Command over oral and written skills in English

Good analytical skills, logical thinking, Coaching mentoring skills.

Should be open for shift
