Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain simulation models for electrified powertrain and energy storage system applications using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Perform system-level modeling, simulation, and analysis of battery systems, charging systems, and vehicle electrification functions.
- Design, implement, and validate control algorithms using Model-Based Development methodologies.
- Conduct model verification, validation, and correlation with test or vehicle data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system architects, software developers, calibration engineers, and validation teams.
- Support requirements analysis, functional decomposition, and technical documentation.
- Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of system performance issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of simulation methodologies, tools, and workflows.

Required Qualifications:

- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in MATLAB and Simulink.
- Robust understanding of Model-Based Design (MBD) concepts and simulation methodologies.




- Experience in control system development and system-level simulation.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrification architectures and electric powertrain systems.
- Familiarity with requirements management and software development processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Domain expertise in Energy Storage Systems (ESS), including:

- Battery management systems (BMS)
- Lithium-ion battery behavior and modeling
- State estimation (SOC, SOH, SOP)
- Thermal management of battery systems
- Charging and energy management strategies
- Experience with Simulink Coder, Stateflow, and MIL/SIL/HIL validation.
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN.
- Exposure to automotive functional safety standards (ISO 26262) is an advantage.
- Experience with electrified commercial vehicles or passenger vehicles preferred.
