Java Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Java Developer with 4-8 years of experience to design, develop, integrate, and support enterprise applications and RESTful services. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, SQL, Hibernate, and JPA, along with practical experience using up-to-date source-control, build, and deployment tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java/J2EE applications using Spring and Spring Boot.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using JAX-RS and JSON, with attention to reliability, maintainability, and secure coding practices.
- Build and maintain persistence layers using SQL, Hibernate, and JPA frameworks.
- Use source-code management platforms such as Git or SVN for version control, branching, merging, and collaborative development.
- Create and maintain application builds using Maven, Gradle, or Ant, including dependency and version management.
- Contribute to microservices-based application development and deployment on cloud infrastructure.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support CI/CD activities and automated deployments using Jenkins scripts and related pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews, defect resolution, performance improvement, and technical documentation.
- Work with web servers and load-balancing technologies during deployment and production support activities.

Required Skills

- 3-5 years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong programming experience in Java and J2EE.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs using JAX-RS and JSON.
- Good knowledge of SQL and experience with Hibernate and JPA.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Working knowledge of Oracle or PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience with Jenkins scripts and CI/CD deployment processes.
- Experience developing or deploying microservices on cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with web servers and load-balancing technologies
