Client additional details - We're seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to build and maintain large-scale, modular iOS applications with expertise in modern Apple technologies and AI integration. In this role, you'll design scalable application architectures, optimize app performance, and deliver high-quality user experiences across iPhone and iPad platforms. You'll develop advanced SwiftUI interfaces with a strong focus on responsiveness and accessibility, implement robust crash monitoring and observability solutions, and diagnose memory, performance, and concurrency issues using Xcode Instruments and profiling tools.

Additionally, you'll apply contemporary dependency management and architectural patterns to create scalable, maintainable, and testable solutions across multiple feature teams.

Core Technical Requirements

Beyond core iOS expertise, you'll have hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs and working with MCP (Model Context Protocol) frameworks in production environments. You'll understand token management, context handling, and agentic workflows, including multi-agent orchestration and tool-use patterns. We're looking for engineers who can evaluate LLM trade-offs and implement resilient error handling in AI-powered applications.

You should also have proven specialization in 2-3 of the following areas: ¢ Swift Concurrency (async/await, Actors, Task Groups) €¢ SwiftUI and Combine €¢ Core Data or SwiftData €¢ Networking with URLSession, gRPC, or Protocol Buffers €¢ Background processing with BackgroundTasks framework Your experience should extend beyond simple applications. You've debugged memory leaks using Instruments, analyzed crash trends, optimized startup performance, and delivered scalable solutions in production environments.
