Role Description The Investor role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Srinagar, with flexibility for some work from home. The investor will collaborate closely with the founders to provide strategic input on business direction, funding allocation, and long-term growth plans for SteamyDevs Gaming Studio. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial projections, evaluating product roadmaps and upcoming titles, and supporting decisions related to marketing, hiring, and technology investments.

The investor will participate in regular planning meetings, monitor performance metrics,



and help identify new partnerships or revenue opportunities in gaming and software markets. This role involves a 25% ownership stake in the company, with an expectation of active engagement in shaping the studio’s future.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in investing, entrepreneurship, or business ownership, preferably within gaming, software, or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and basic accounting principles to assess risk, return, and growth potential.
- Ability to analyze market trends, user behavior, and competitive landscapes in video games and digital products.
- Proficiency in strategic thinking, decision-making, and long-term business planning, with a cooperative approach to working with founders.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for engaging with stakeholders, partners, and potential clients.
- Comfort with a hybrid work model in Srinagar, including occasional on-site meetings and remote collaboration.
- Familiarity with game development or software development processes is highly beneficial, though not strictly required.
