Role Description This is a full time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Gurugram.

The Interior

Designer will collaborate with clients to understand their needs, develop design concepts, and create functional, aesthetically appealing interior spaces. Daily responsibilities include space planning, preparing design presentations and mood boards, selecting finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment, and coordinating with internal project, procurement, and site teams. The role involves producing or reviewing construction and installation drawings, ensuring design intent is maintained during execution,



and resolving design-related challenges at site.

The Interior

Designer will also participate in client meetings, manage project timelines and budgets, and uphold Livspace’s standards for quality, safety, and customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills for residential projects, with the ability to balance functionality, aesthetics, and client preferences.
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read, create, and coordinate technical drawings with project and site teams.
- Experience with FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination to ensure cohesive and practical design solutions.
- Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D rendering software) and MS Office for documentation and presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with prior experience in residential interiors or renovation projects.
- Strong communication and client management skills, with the ability to present concepts clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects, timelines, and site requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local building codes, materials, and construction practices; prior experience working in Gurugram or NCR is an advantage.
