About the Role

We are looking for a creative and experienced Interior Designer to design our newly acquired commercial space at Purnadas Road, Kolkata, which will be developed into a café.

The ideal candidate should understand F&B;/café interiors, customer flow, functionality, aesthetics, and commercial space optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop the complete interior concept and design for the café.
- Plan floor layout, seating, kitchen/service areas, counters, lighting, furniture and décor.
- Create 2D layouts, 3D renders and detailed design drawings.
- Design the space to maximize customer experience, functionality and seating capacity.
- Recommend suitable materials, furniture, finishes, lighting and colour palette.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors and fabricators during execution.
- Conduct site visits and ensure execution is aligned with approved designs.
- Work within the agreed budget and project timeline.




- Suggest creative design elements that create a strong café identity and Instagram-friendly ambience.

Requirements

- Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in cafés, restaurants, QSRs or commercial spaces.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max/Blender, V-Ray or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of commercial interior materials, lighting and furniture.
- Good vendor/contractor coordination skills.
- Strong design sense with attention to detail.
- Portfolio of previous café/restaurant projects is preferred.
