Summary We are looking for experienced professionals in Insurance / Reinsurance Accounting to join our finance and accounting team in Noida. The role will focus on ceded reinsurance accounting, financial and management reporting, regulatory reporting, reconciliations, journal entries and reinsurance-related transactions. Candidates with strong insurance or reinsurance accounting experience and an understanding of US GAAP will be preferred.

Responsibilities

- Manage accounting for ceded premium, commission, UEP, claims, reserves and cash transactions.
- Prepare financial and management reports and support regulatory reporting including Schedule P and Schedule F.
- Review ceded premium and loss results from the reinsurance system and manage reinsurance payments to brokers/reinsurers.
- Perform accounting transactions, manual/top-side journal entries, GL, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.




- Review claims billings and ensure accurate and timely accounting, reporting and reconciliation of reinsurance-related transactions.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in Insurance Accounting, Reinsurance Accounting or a closely related finance domain.
- Strong knowledge of ceded reinsurance, including premium, commission, claims, reserves and related accounting processes.
- Good understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting and regulatory reporting; knowledge of Schedule P and Schedule F is preferred.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with hands-on experience in GL, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
- Bachelor's/Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; MBA Finance or Insurance/Reinsurance certification will be an added advantage.
