Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL mappings, workflows, and sessions using Informatica and Informatica PowerCenter.
- Analyze source-to-target mappings and implement transformations to meet business and technical requirements.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL job failures, data load issues, and performance bottlenecks in batch runs.
- Implement reusable components, parameterization, and scheduling practices to improve maintainability and operational efficiency.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and basic root-cause analysis to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, clarify logic, and deliver changes within agreed timelines.
- Maintain technical documentation for mappings, workflows, operational runbooks, and deployment notes.
- Support releases by promoting ETL objects across environments and following standard change management processes.

Minimum

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering/Technology/Computer Applications/Science (e.g., BTech, BE, MCA, MSc) or related field.




- 2–3 years of hands-on experience working with Informatica ETL development and support.
- Practical experience with Informatica PowerCenter including mappings, workflows, sessions, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret ETL requirements and implement transformations aligned to source-to-target specifications.
- Experience supporting batch operations, monitoring loads, and resolving production issues with a structured approach.

Preferred

Qualifications:

- Experience optimizing PowerCenter performance (e.g., tuning sessions, improving mapping design, reducing load times).
- Exposure to deployment practices across multiple environments and adherence to release/change processes.
- Robust documentation habits and ability to create clear operational guides for recurring ETL processes.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into maintainable ETL solutions.
- Familiarity with data quality checks, reconciliation approaches, and supporting audit-ready data pipelines.

Good to have skills: SQL, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting, Informatica Administration, Performance Tuning, Scheduling Tools (Control-M/Autosys)
