About the role

You take customers from signed contract to confident daily use of Shipmnts. You visit their offices, understand how they actually run their business, design how it will work on our platform, bridge the gaps, and train their teams until they can run on their own. You work with the Implementation Lead who runs each engagement, alongside Associates who handle setup and data migration.

Shipmnts is an AI-native platform that runs the operations and finance of freight forwarders, customs brokers and logistics companies. 180+ companies across India, the UAE and the US run their business on Shipmnts.

We are hiring in two specialisations:

- Operations: freight forwarding, documentation, customs, CRM, warehouse and container tracking
- Finance & Accounting: chart of accounts, GST and TDS, invoicing, opening balances and migration sign-off

What you will do
- Lead discovery on-site or remotely and map the customer's as-is processes
- Run gap analysis and recommend configuration, workarounds or product changes
- Design the solution for your area and direct Associates on setup and migration
- Plan and deliver training for customer teams, on-site and remote
- Support customers through go-live and hypercare, then hand over cleanly to Support and Customer Success
- Finance specialisation: design the finance setup,



reconcile opening balances against the trial balance and sign off before go-live
- Turn repeated explanations into guides and videos

What you will bring
- 3 to 8 years as an implementation or functional consultant on ERP, SaaS or logistics software, or senior operations or accounts experience at a freight forwarder or customs broker that included a system rollout
- Operations: solid knowledge of ocean and air freight, imports and exports, and documentation
- Finance: hands-on accounting (books, reconciliations, GST, TDS); CA, CA Inter or M.Com preferred
- A confident trainer and consultant in English and Hindi; Gujarati or Marathi is a plus
- Able to handle several implementations in parallel
- Willing to travel 40 to 60% of the time (travel is billed to customers and fully reimbursed)

Location and salary
- Ahmedabad or Mumbai
- Rs 6 to 11 LPA in Ahmedabad; Rs 7 to 12 LPA in Mumbai, based on experience

How we hire A role-play discovery session with a mock freight forwarder, then a presentation of your solution and training plan. Finance candidates also review a sample migration that contains deliberate errors.
