- Strong SQL and query design experience, with skills in performance tuning, query optimization, and data validation/automation across heterogeneous data sources.
- Hands-on proficiency in programming languages (Python, SQL, Scala; Java a plus) and experience with ML frameworks (Spark, Databricks, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, PyTorch, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS required; Azure/GCP a plus) including services for storage, compute, orchestration, and monitoring.
- Experience in BI/analytics platforms (e.g., SigmaComputing, Tableau, PowerBI, MicroStrategy) to support self-service and operational reporting.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, lineage, and compliance requirements (GDPR,



SOX) with hands-on application of RBAC, encryption, and secure-by-design practices in cloud environments.
- Ability to analyze large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets (structured and unstructured) to deliver insights and power advanced analytics/ML use cases.
- Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and up-to-date ML techniques (LLMs, transformers, ensemble methods, deep learning frameworks) and how they integrate into data engineering workflows.
