Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using IBM InfoSphere DataStage to support enterprise data integration needs.
- Build and enhance DataStage jobs, sequences, and reusable components aligned to best practices and project standards.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Perform source-to-target mapping implementation and ensure accurate transformation logic across ETL processes.
- Troubleshoot job failures, analyze logs, resolve data issues, and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Support deployments across environments and collaborate with teams to ensure smooth releases and minimal downtime.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including job design specs, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements, estimate effort, and provide regular status updates on deliverables.

Minimum

Qualifications:

- Education: BTECH, MTECH, MCA, MSC (or equivalent).




- 3–5 years of experience in ETL development with strong hands-on expertise in IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data transformations, and end-to-end pipeline execution.
- Solid working knowledge of SQL including joins, aggregations, subqueries, and performance tuning basics.
- Experience in debugging ETL jobs, handling data quality checks, and supporting production issues.

Preferred

Qualifications:

- Experience optimizing DataStage jobs for performance (parallelism, partitioning, tuning stages, and efficient design patterns).
- Exposure to data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling basics, and batch processing best practices.
- Familiarity with scheduling/automation and operational monitoring for ETL workflows.
- Experience working in Agile teams with strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to improve standards through reusable frameworks, documentation, and proactive reliability enhancements.
