Role & responsibilities

Responsible for installation, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of hydraulic systems used in heavy machinery and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, assemble and commission hydraulic systems and hydraulic power packs in heavy machinery.
- Read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams, schematics, GA drawings and technical manuals.
- Perform installation and maintenance of hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, manifolds, accumulators and hydraulic pipelines.
- Diagnose and rectify hydraulic system problems such as:

- Pressure and flow issues

- Hydraulic leakage

- Abnormal noise and vibration

- Cylinder malfunction

- Valve failure

- Overheating
- Slow or irregular machine operation
- Conduct pressure, flow and functional testing of hydraulic systems.
- Dismantle, inspect, repair and replace defective hydraulic components.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of hydraulic equipment.
- Perform hydraulic hose, tube and fitting installation with proper routing and safety practices.
- Identify root causes of recurring hydraulic failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Mechanical,



Electrical, Production, Maintenance and QA/QC teams during machine assembly and commissioning.
- Support FAT, commissioning and customer-site troubleshooting, whenever required.
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports and service documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards during hydraulic installation and maintenance.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and components.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic pumps, valves and cylinders.
- Ability to understand hydraulic circuit diagrams.
- Experience in hydraulic troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
- Knowledge of hydraulic pressure/flow testing instruments.
- Experience in heavy machinery, construction equipment, mining equipment, drilling equipment or industrial machinery will be an advantage.
- Valuable knowledge of hydraulic hoses, fittings, tubing and piping.
- Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
