About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HVAC Design Intern to support our engineering team in designing efficient HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This internship offers valuable exposure to the design process, industry standards, and real project environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing HVAC layout drawings, schematics, and details using AutoCAD/Revit
- Perform basic heat load calculations and equipment sizing under the guidance of senior engineers
- Help in the selection of HVAC equipment such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and ducts
- Support in the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ), technical specifications, and submittals
- Participate in design coordination meetings with internal teams and external consultants
- Research and reference relevant codes, standards, and manufacturer data sheets
- Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, and design presentations

Requirements:

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Building Services Engineering
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles, load calculations, and equipment selection fundamentals
- Familiarity with AutoCAD (mandatory); Revit or other BIM software is a plus
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative workplace
