About Us

Meadbery is a fast-growing D2C Ayurvedic wellness brand selling through our own website and Amazon India. As we scale, we're building our first dedicated in-house HR function to support our growing telecalling and sales teams.

Role Overview

We're hiring an HR Manager to independently own recruitment and HR operations for our Zirakpur office. This is a hands-on role — you will personally source, screen, and close candidates, not just coordinate the process. The primary focus is high-volume hiring for sales and telecalling roles, alongside day-to-day HR generalist responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment (Primary Focus)

- Own end-to-end recruitment for telecalling and sales roles — sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer rollout, and joining
- Deliver high-volume hiring on tight timelines using Naukri, Apna, Indeed, LinkedIn, and referral networks
- Build and maintain an active candidate pipeline/database specific to the Tricity (Chandigarh–Mohali–Panchkula) market
- Screen specifically for target-driven role fit — not just communication skills, but resilience, consistency, and ability to sustain outbound call/sales volume
- Track and report real hiring metrics: joins vs. targets, offer-to-join ratio, and 90-day retention

HR Generalist / Operations

- Manage onboarding, attendance, and payroll coordination for the Zirakpur team
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Handle grievances, employee relations, and exit formalities




- Support HR policy implementation and basic compliance

Requirements

- 5 years of HR experience, with demonstrated recruitment for sales, telecalling, or other high-volume/target-driven roles (not only corporate or technical hiring)
- Working knowledge of the Tricity job market — salary bands, effective sourcing channels, local candidate behavior
- Comfortable owning recruitment personally, end-to-end — this is not a coordination-only or strategic-advisory role
- Strong Excel/reporting skills for tracking hiring and HR metrics
- Immediate joiners or short notice period preferred

What We're Not Looking For

- Candidates whose recruitment background is exclusively IT/tech, corporate, or international (US/UK) hiring with no domestic sales-hiring exposure
- Strategic HR leadership profiles looking for an advisory or policy-design mandate
- Remote or hybrid seekers — this role is fully on-site in Zirakpur

Compensation Structure

- Fixed salary based on genuine, verifiable experience
- Performance-linked increment reviewed at a defined probation checkpoint, tied to actual hiring delivery (not activity alone)
