Job Title: Housekeeping Trainer
Department: Operations / Training & Development
Industry: Property Management Services
Reports To: Training Manager / Operations Manager
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 6–8 years in housekeeping, facility management and training
Job Purpose To train and develop housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, safety practices, equipment handling, customer service, and workplace discipline, ensuring consistent service quality across client facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct induction and on-the-job training for housekeeping staff.
- Train employees on standard cleaning procedures (SOPs) for offices, commercial buildings, hospitals, residential communities, malls, and other client facilities.
- Demonstrate correct use of cleaning chemicals, tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Train staff on chemical dilution, labeling, storage, and secure handling.
- Provide training on floor care, washroom cleaning, glass cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, waste management, and deep-cleaning procedures.
- Educate employees on personal hygiene, grooming, uniform standards, and workplace etiquette.
- Conduct training on occupational health and safety, PPE usage, and accident prevention.
- Train housekeeping staff in customer service and professional communication.
- Conduct refresher training and skill-development sessions based on operational requirements.
- Assess employee knowledge and practical skills through tests, demonstrations, and observations.
- Identify training gaps and recommend corrective or improvement measures.
- Prepare training schedules, attendance records, assessment reports, and training documentation.
- Conduct toolbox talks and daily/weekly safety briefings when required.
- Coordinate with Operations Supervisors and Site Managers to identify performance-related training needs.
- Ensure housekeeping teams follow company SOPs and client-specific requirements.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training through site visits and employee performance observations.
- Maintain records of training conducted, assessments, and employee competency.
- Support new site mobilization by training housekeeping manpower before deployment.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of professional housekeeping and cleaning practices.
- Good understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and machinery.
- Knowledge of SOPs, hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Valuable communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to demonstrate cleaning techniques practically.
- Solid coaching and people-management skills.
- Ability to train employees with different levels of education and experience.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining training records and reports.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Facility Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in housekeeping, hospitality, facility management, or training will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
