Position: Housekeeping Room Attendant

Job Summary The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of guest rooms and assigned areas. The role ensures that all rooms are cleaned and maintained according to hotel standards while providing excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, change bed linen, and replace towels and other guest amenities.
- Replenish toiletries, stationery, and other room supplies.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as required.
- Ensure all furniture, fixtures, and equipment are clean and in good condition.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, and lost-and-found items to the supervisor.
- Follow hotel procedures for handling guest laundry and guest belongings.
- Respond promptly and politely to guest requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping trolleys and storage areas.
- Follow hotel hygiene, safety, and security procedures.
- Ensure guest privacy and handle guest belongings with care.




- Complete assigned rooms within the required time and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 10th or 12th pass preferred.
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valuable personal hygiene and professional appearance.
- Honest, punctual, and hardworking.

Experience

0–2 years of experience in hotel housekeeping preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Guest room cleanliness and inspection scores.
- Number of rooms cleaned per shift.
- Guest satisfaction and feedback.
- Compliance with hotel cleaning standards.
- Proper use of cleaning materials and equipment.

Working Conditions
- Full-time hotel position.
- Shift duties, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be physically capable of standing, walking, and performing cleaning tasks for extended periods.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
