Role Overview:

Head – Pre-Primary: This is a multi-functional role combining Curriculum Writing, Subject

Matter Expertise (SME), and Teacher Training for the Pre-Primary segment (Nursery, LKG and UKG). This role requires a deep understanding of early childhood education, curriculum design, pedagogy and classroom dynamics, together with the ability to train, mentor and inspire pre-primary educators, ensuring that both the curriculum and its classroom delivery are developmentally appropriate, engaging and effective.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Plan and create learning material for Nursery, LKG and UKG students.
- Write age-appropriate lesson plans, worksheets, activities, stories and assessments.
- Prepare content for books, classroom use and digital learning platforms.
- Advise on how young children learn best, applying sound early-childhood pedagogy.
- Ensure the curriculum aligns with standards such as NCF 2022, NEP 2020,

Montessori, EYFS or IB PYP.

- Review the work of other writers to ensure it suits children’s age and learning level.
- Stay current with global early-childhood teaching approaches and ideas.
- Help integrate different subjects (such as language and math) so they work well together.
- Design and conduct training sessions for pre-primary teachers.
- Train teachers in classroom management, lesson delivery and tracking student progress.
- Lead workshops, online sessions and model lessons to improve teaching quality.




- Observe classes and provide constructive feedback to guide teachers.
- Write straightforward manuals and guides to help teachers use the curriculum effectively.
- Train teachers in methods for including children with different learning needs.

Skills/Expertise

- Passion for working with young children and supporting early-years educators.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities.
- Creativity in content development and training delivery.
- Familiarity with ed-tech tools, LMS platforms and digital teaching aids.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic, creative and operational teams.

Qualifications and Experience

- Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or Child Psychology.
- 10+ years of experience in early childhood education.
- Prior experience in academic leadership, teacher mentorship or school coordination.
- Proficient in creating engaging content and delivering impactful training sessions.
- Preferred: Certifications in Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, or Finland-based early-childhood methodologies.
- Preferred: Experience with CBSE, ICSE or international curricula (EYFS, IB PYP).
- Preferred: Exposure to inclusive education and differentiated instruction.
