Role Description The Head of Research and Development is a full-time, in office role based in Noida. This position leads the end-to-end R&D; function, including concept development, formulation design, testing, and optimization of skincare & haircare products. The person should have independently developed skincare & hair care products.

The role involves designing research plans, overseeing clinical and stability studies, reviewing data, and ensuring regulatory and safety compliance. The Head of R&D; will manage and mentor the R&D; team, coordinate cross-functional projects with marketing, operations, and regulatory, and maintain clear project timelines and deliverables. The role also includes scouting new ingredients and technologies, building partnerships with dermatology experts and external labs,



and continuously improving product performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate formulations, and make evidence-based product decisions.
- Expertise in Research and Development (R&D;), including skincare formulation, clinical testing, and product innovation.
- Experience in Research design, experimental planning, and documentation of protocols and results.
- Proven Team Management capabilities, including mentoring, performance management, and collaborative leadership.
- Solid Project Management skills to plan, prioritize, and deliver multiple R&D; initiatives on time and within scope.
- Advanced degree in cosmetic science, chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience leading R&D; in skincare, dermatology, or personal care, with familiarity in sensitive-skin formulations.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality systems relevant to skincare products.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and clear reporting of research outcomes.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida and thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
