Head – Digital Marketing & Growth

Location: Chennai (Full-time)

Department: Digital Growth & Engagement Team

Reports to: Country Director The Head – Digital Marketing & Growth provides senior leadership for the organization's digital marketing efforts.

The main goal of this role is growth: more website traffic, subscriptions, sales and donations, and a stronger long-term relationship with our audiences. The role sets the digital marketing strategy and owns results across paid, organic, email and social channels. It builds and leads a team that makes decisions based on performance data, and keeps all marketing in line with the organization's mission, brand and ministry goals.

What You'll Be Doing

- Own the overall digital marketing and growth strategy, with clear targets for website traffic, subscriptions, sales and revenue.
- Plan and run full-funnel campaigns that grow awareness, bring in new audiences, turn visitors into subscribers and customers, and keep them coming back.
- Lead the paid media strategy and budget across Google Ads, Meta Ads and other platforms, and improve cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS) and cost per lead.
- Grow organic traffic through SEO, content marketing and website improvements.
- Improve conversion rates across websites, landing pages, sign-up flows and checkout.
- Build and grow email, WhatsApp and CRM programs for subscriber growth, nurturing, retention and repeat sales.
- Set KPIs, dashboards and reporting (in tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console). Track performance, run A/B tests and use the results to decide where budget goes.
- Manage the marketing budget, agencies and vendors so that spend delivers measurable return.
- Present digital growth strategy and results in senior-level and cross-departmental discussions.
- Set up workflows, timelines, quality standards and best practices for all marketing deliverables.




- Mentor the team on campaign execution, growth marketing and recent digital trends.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

- Master's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in digital or performance marketing, including senior leadership responsibility.
- A proven record of growing website traffic, subscriptions, leads or online sales, with results you can measure.
- Hands-on expertise in SEO, SEM, paid social, email marketing and conversion rate optimization.
- Experience managing and improving large paid campaigns and digital budgets.
- Strong skills in analytics and marketing tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and CRM or email platforms.
- Good understanding of funnels, attribution, customer journeys and A/B testing.
- Experience leading teams, managing agencies or vendors, and influencing stakeholders across teams.
- Excellent written, verbal and leadership communication skills.
