About the Project:
This role is part of the R&D; department, focused on the development of electronic products. This advanced project aims to revolutionize fault detection and localization in electrical systems, enhancing operational efficiency and safety. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge hardware design and development.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test hardware components and systems for various power and control applications in HV/EHV.
Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using CAD tools such as PSpice, LTSpice, Altium Designer, and ORCAD.
Conduct circuit simulations, performance evaluations, and design optimization through iterative testing.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and production engineers to ensure seamless hardware–software integration.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues during prototype, testing, and production stages.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards,
EMI/EMC requirements, and safety regulations.
Prepare comprehensive documentation including design specifications, test procedures, validation reports, and BOMs.
Stay updated with the latest developments in power electronics devices, converter topologies, and control techniques.
Hands-on experience in testing and characterization of power semiconductor devices such as IGBTs, MOSFETs, and Si-C devices.
Design and analysis of resonant converters (LLC, series, and parallel), DC–DC converters, and Switch-Mode Power Supplies (SMPS).
Involvement in thermal management, gate driver design, and protection circuitry development. Perform hardware validation, efficiency measurement, and reliability testing under varying load and environmental conditions.
Support DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Testing) initiatives to ensure production readiness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of Hands-on experience in hardware design and development, preferably in pulse generators, transmission and receiver circuits, etc.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD, etc.).
Strong understanding of electronic components, circuit design, and signal processing.
Experience with PCB layout and fabrication processes.
Knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller programming is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
