We are looking for a Graphic Designer who has a strong eye for design, curiosity to learn, and the ability to think beyond just executing a brief.

Role OverviewAs a Graphic Designer at Happy Code Labs, you will work across a variety of branding, marketing and digital product projects.

You will be responsible for creating visual designs for branding projects, social media campaigns, print materials, websites and digital products, while collaborating with our internal team to turn ideas and requirements into clear, engaging and practical design solutions.

This opportunity is open to both fresh graduates and designers with up to 2 years of professional experience.

We are also open to internship applicants who have strong design fundamentals, a good portfolio and a genuine interest in building their skills through real-world projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Create high-quality visual designs for branding, marketing and social media projects.
- Design print materials such as brochures, posters, flyers, menus, business stationery, marketing collateral and other brand assets.
- Create social media creatives, campaign visuals, advertisements and digital marketing assets.
- Support branding projects including logo development, visual identity systems, typography, colour systems and brand guidelines.
- Design visual assets and layouts required for websites and landing pages.




- Understand project requirements and develop appropriate UI/UX solutions for websites and mobile applications.
- Create wireframes, interface layouts, components and visual design systems using tools such as Figma.
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs can be implemented accurately across web and mobile platforms.
- Maintain visual consistency across all assets associated with a brand or project.
- Analyse references, competitors, user requirements and project objectives before starting the design process.
- Present design ideas with proper reasoning instead of relying only on visual trends.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and manage revisions based on internal and client feedback.
- Prepare organised, production-ready files for digital and print use.
- Collaborate with developers, designers and other team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated with current design trends, UI/UX practices, typography, branding and digital design standards.

What We Are Looking For
- A strong eye for visual design, composition, typography, colour and layout.
- Good aesthetic judgement and the ability to recognise what makes a design effective.
- Ability to understand the purpose behind a design rather than simply copying references.
- Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills when approaching design challenges.
- Good understanding of basic graphic design and visual communication principles.
- Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Figma.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles for websites and mobile applications.
- Ability to learn new tools and workflows quickly.
- Attention to detail and willingness to improve work through feedback and iteration.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work within project timelines.
- A smart-working,



responsible and dedicated approach towards assigned work.
- Positive communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Applied Arts or a related field.
- Academic or personal projects related to branding, typography, UI/UX or digital product design.
- Understanding of responsive web design.
- Knowledge of design systems, prototyping or interaction design.
- Illustration, motion graphics, video editing or basic animation skills are an added advantage.
- Previous internship, freelance or agency experience is a bonus but not mandatory.
