Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled GIS Analyst / GIS Specialist to support multidisciplinary consulting projects through geospatial data management, spatial analysis, mapping, visualisation, and GIS-based decision support.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, manage, edit, and maintain GIS databases and spatial datasets.

- Perform spatial analysis, geoprocessing, data cleaning, validation, and quality checks.

- Prepare high-quality thematic maps, analytical maps, layouts, and GIS figures for reports and presentations.

- Integrate GIS data from survey, GPS/GNSS, CAD, satellite imagery, field surveys, and other sources.

- Undertake GIS analyses such as site suitability, accessibility, proximity, land-use, network, and spatial distribution analysis, as required.

- Manage and process GIS data in formats including GeoJSON, Shapefile, GeoPackage, KML/KMZ and CAD.

- Support preparation of GIS-based visualisation and decision-support outputs.

- Coordinate with multidisciplinary technical teams to understand project requirements and deliver appropriate GIS outputs.

- Ensure accuracy, consistency, completeness, and quality of GIS data and deliverables.

- Support GIS inputs for technical reports, proposals, presentations, and client deliverables.

Qualifications





- Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.

- 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in GIS / geospatial analysis.

- Experience in consulting, infrastructure, urban development, transport, environment, land development, or public-sector projects will be an advantage

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in QGIS and/or ArcGIS Pro.

- Strong knowledge of spatial analysis, geoprocessing, cartography, and GIS database management.

- Working knowledge of CAD-GIS integration and spatial data formats.

- Knowledge of Python, SQL/PostGIS, Remote Sensing, Web GIS, or GIS automation will be an advantage

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
