About the RoleFreshius Foods is looking for an experienced General Manager – Institutional Catering to manage and lead large-scale institutional food-service operations.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in institutional catering, high-volume meal production, large teams, and managing operations for institutions such as universities, colleges, hostels, hospitals or corporate campuses.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end institutional catering operations.
- Oversee large-volume meal production and timely service.
- Manage kitchen, service and operational teams.
- Ensure food quality, hygiene and safety standards.
- Handle institutional clients and resolve operational issues.
- Monitor food cost, wastage, inventory and manpower productivity.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and applicable food-safety standards.
- Drive customer satisfaction and continuous operational improvement.
- Monitor account performance and operational profitability.





Candidate Profile

- 5+ years of experience in institutional / contract catering.
- Strong experience in large-scale meal operations is essential.
- Experience managing large institutions and sizeable teams.
- Good knowledge of kitchen operations, food production and menu planning.
- Strong client-handling and leadership skills.
- Understanding of food cost, inventory and manpower management.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel between locations when required.
