Purpose/Objective

The Head – O&M; EPC will lead the development and execution of maintenance, reliability, utility operations, commissioning, and asset management strategies for Adani Solar Manufacturing's integrated facilities.

The role will bridge project execution and operational excellence by ensuring smooth transition from EPC delivery to stable manufacturing operations while maximizing safety, uptime, productivity, and return on assets.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Strategic Asset Management - Define and implement enterprise-wide O&M; strategies for manufacturing and utility assets.

- Establish world-class asset management and maintenance governance frameworks.
- Drive lifecycle optimization, reliability enhancement, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Develop long-term asset replacement and modernization roadmaps.

EPC-to-Operations Integration - Lead operational readiness planning during project execution phases.

- Ensure maintainability, reliability, and operability requirements are embedded during engineering and design reviews.
- Drive seamless handover of projects from EPC teams to operations.
- Oversee commissioning acceptance, performance validation, and warranty management.

Reliability & Maintenance Excellence - Implement Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), TPM, and predictive maintenance practices.

- Lead breakdown elimination, root cause analysis, and corrective action programs.
- Improve asset health through digital monitoring and condition-based maintenance systems.
- Drive continuous improvement in MTBF, MTTR, and overall equipment effectiveness.





Utilities & Infrastructure Management - Manage critical utility systems including: - Electrical Distribution Systems - HVAC & Chiller Plants - Compressed Air Systems - Nitrogen & Gas Distribution Networks - Water Treatment & Wastewater Systems - Chemical Supply Infrastructure - Ensure uninterrupted utility support for manufacturing operations.

- Lead energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Commissioning & Capacity Expansion - Lead commissioning of current manufacturing lines and expansion projects.

- Coordinate with OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, and technology partners.
- Ensure successful factory acceptance, site acceptance, and ramp-up performance.
- Drive accelerated stabilization of new assets post commissioning.

Safety, Risk & Compliance - Champion a Zero Harm culture across all operations.

- Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, electrical, and occupational safety requirements.
- Lead risk assessments, emergency preparedness, and operational safety reviews.
- Drive world-class EHS performance across facilities.

Cost & Performance Optimization - Own O&M; budgets, capital expenditure planning, and maintenance cost optimization.

- Develop strategies for spare parts management and inventory optimization.
- Identify opportunities for operational savings and productivity enhancement.




- Drive asset utilization and plant performance improvements.

Digital Manufacturing & Industry 4.

0 - Lead deployment of CMMS, EAM, predictive analytics, and digital maintenance platforms.

- Leverage AI, IoT, and real-time monitoring solutions for asset performance improvement.
- Establish performance dashboards and advanced analytics for decision-making.

Leadership & Capability Development - Build and develop high-performing engineering and maintenance teams.

- Establish technical competency frameworks and succession plans.
- Foster a culture of accountability, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor future leaders across the O&M; organization.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.

- Master's Degree or MBA preferred.

Experience - 20 years of experience in EPC, manufacturing operations, maintenance, utilities, or asset management.

- Extensive experience in large-scale manufacturing, energy, semiconductor, solar, process, or industrial projects.
- Proven track record in commissioning, plant start-up, reliability engineering, and operational excellence.
- Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams and managing critical operational assets.
