Role Description: The General Manager (Corporate Affairs - Policy Advocacy) is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position is responsible for leading policy advocacy initiatives, managing stakeholder relationships, and representing the organization’s interests with industry bodies, regulatory authorities, and government agencies.

Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring relevant policy developments, preparing position papers and advocacy materials, coordinating consultations and meetings, and developing strategies to influence regulatory and legislative outcomes aligned with business goals.

The General

Manager will collaborate closely with senior leadership, provide guidance on policy risks and opportunities, and ensure consistent,



transparent communication across internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications:

- Policy analysis and advocacy skills, including the ability to interpret regulations, draft policy briefs, and develop explicit positions on key issues.
- Stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities with government agencies, industry associations, and strategic partners.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for crafting concise messages, delivering briefings, and representing the organization in public forums.
- Strategic planning and organizational skills to design advocacy roadmaps, manage multiple initiatives, and track progress against defined objectives.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with senior executives.
- Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, Business, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Experience in corporate affairs, public policy, or regulatory engagement, preferably within consulting, professional services, or related sectors.
- High level of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical, transparent advocacy practices.
