Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Bhopal Area focused on guiding students toward GATE exam preparation and PhD admissions in institutes such as IISc, IISERs, NITs, and IITs. The role involves counseling students on suitable programs and institutes, explaining admission processes, and outlining exam requirements and timelines.

The team member will conduct information sessions, workshops, and one-on-one guidance to help students plan study strategies, build research profiles, and prepare strong applications. Daily work includes responding to student queries, maintaining accurate records of interactions, coordinating with educational partners,



and sharing updated information on entrance exams, scholarships, and fellowship opportunities. The role also requires collaborating with internal teams to improve student outreach, contribute to educational content, and support local events promoting careers in research and higher studies.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills, including clear spoken and written guidance tailored to diverse student backgrounds.
- Customer Service and Student Recruiting skills to support, advise, and engage students throughout the admission and exam preparation journey.
- Sales skills to ethically promote relevant programs, workshops, and services that align with students’ academic and career goals.
- Education-related skills and experience, such as academic counseling, mentoring, or teaching in higher education or exam preparation contexts.
- Familiarity with GATE exam patterns and PhD admission processes for institutes like IISc, IISERs, NITs, and IITs.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Bhopal Area, manage time effectively, and handle multiple student cases simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, Education, or a related field; prior experience in test preparation or academic advising is an advantage.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (spreadsheets, online forms, communication platforms) for tracking student progress and sharing resources.
