Key Responsibilities: BigQuery Development & Optimization

- Build and maintain BigQuery datasets, tables, views, and SQL transformations aligned to analytics needs
- Optimize query performance and cost using partitioning, clustering, materialized views, and best-practice SQL patterns
- Implement data quality checks and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency Data Pipelines & Processing
- Develop and support ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from multiple sources into BigQuery
- Use Dataproc to process batch workloads and transform large datasets efficiently
- Manage data ingestion and storage workflows using Google Cloud Storage (GCS) Operations, Reliability & Collaboration
- Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and deliverables
- Document datasets, pipeline logic, and operational runbooks for maintainability and knowledge sharing Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (or equivalent)



in Engineering, Computer Science, MCA, MSc, or related field
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience working with GCP BigQuery in production environments
- Strong SQL skills with experience building transformations and optimizing analytical queries
- Experience with ETL/ELT concepts and implementing data pipelines
- Working knowledge of GCS and data processing using Dataproc Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing end-to-end analytics architectures on GCP, from ingestion to curated layers
- Familiarity with BigQuery cost governance, workload management, and performance tuning at scale
- Experience implementing data quality frameworks, auditing, and reconciliation for pipelines
- Exposure to IAM-based access controls and secure handling of sensitive data in cloud environments
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally, manage priorities, and deliver reliable outcomes in rapid-paced teams Good to have skills: Cloud Composer (Airflow), Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Looker/Looker Studio, Terraform
