About The Role We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Game Designer specializing in board game reasoning and strategic analysis to join our client’s team on a full-time basis. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI training initiatives.

The primary focus of this role is to assist in developing, evaluating, and refining datasets that enhance the reasoning and decision-making capabilities of next-generation artificial intelligence models.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of board games, game mechanics, and strategic reasoning, with the ability to analyze complex rule systems and decision trees. Your expertise will directly influence AI performance, helping to create more intelligent, reasoning-based models that can better understand and interpret human-like strategic thinking.

Qualifications





- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, cognitive science, game design, philosophy, economics, or a related analytical discipline.
- At least two years of professional or semi-professional experience in board game design, playtesting, tabletop gaming communities, or strategy-focused environments.
- Strong knowledge of logic, probabilistic reasoning, game mechanics, and complex rule systems.
- Background in game theory, behavioral economics, decision science, or formal logic is highly desirable.
- Exceptional written communication skills for documenting evaluation procedures, guidelines, and analysis results.

Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at improving AI reasoning capabilities through strategic game analysis and dataset development. Key responsibilities include:

- Creating and reviewing game-based reasoning tasks designed to evaluate AI systems’ decision-making and strategic reasoning skills.
- Analyzing board game scenarios, decision trees, and rule-based systems to develop high-quality datasets for training and evaluation.
- Assessing AI-generated responses for correctness, logical consistency,



and reasoning quality, providing actionable feedback.
- Developing prompts, evaluation rubrics, and detailed guidelines to standardize assessments across various game scenarios.
- Identifying logical errors, rule violations, or flawed reasoning in AI outputs, and contributing to the development of benchmarking tools and standards.
