Full Stack Developer

Samosa Interactive is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team in Kochi.

We are a young product and technology company building software across logistics, retail operations, food-tech, gamification and interactive digital experiences.

This is not a role where you will spend months working on one small module.

You could be working on a fleet operations platform one week, improving a self-ordering kiosk experience the next, or building features for a completely new product after that. We work on both our own products and real client deployments, so the things you build will actually be used by businesses and their customers.

What you'll work on You will be involved across the product development cycle, including:

- Building responsive web applications using React.js / Next.js
- Developing backend services and APIs using Node.js / Express.js
- Working with databases such as MySQL, and Postgres
- Integrating frontend applications with APIs and third-party services
- Building authentication, role-based access and business workflows
- App development for Android, iOS, and Web using React Native with Expo
- Frontend development using Tailwind CSS framework
- Working with payment, notification and other external integrations when required
- Debugging production issues and improving application performance
- Collaborating closely with design, product and the rest of the engineering team




- Taking features from requirement to development, testing and deployment
- Contributing to technical discussions and suggesting better ways to build things

What we're looking for We care more about your ability to build, learn and take ownership than the number of technologies listed on your resume.

You should have

- Strong fundamentals in JavaScript / TypeScript
- Good working knowledge of React.js
- Experience with Next.js and Tailwind CSS are preferred
- Working knowledge of Node.js and Express.js
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Understanding of databases, preferably Postgres
- Good understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows like Merge, Rebase, Pull Requests, Merge conflict resolution etc.
- Ability to understand an existing codebase and work independently on assigned features
- A practical approach to debugging and problem-solving
- Willingness to learn technologies outside your current comfort zone

Experience We are looking for candidates with 0–3 years of experience.

Freshers with strong fundamentals and solid personal, academic or freelance projects are welcome to apply.

For us, what you have actually built matters more than simply having a certain number of years on your resume.

We'd especially like to talk if • You have built and deployed projects beyond tutorials

- You have handled both frontend and backend development




- You enjoy figuring things out instead of waiting for detailed instructions for every step
- You care about the actual user experience, not just whether the code works
- You are comfortable working in a small team where your contribution is visible
- You want exposure to building multiple real-world products from the ground up

What this role is not This is probably not the right role if you are looking for a highly structured environment where every requirement is already documented and every technical decision has already been made.

We are still building Samosa Interactive, which means priorities can move, products evolve and engineers are expected to think along with us.

At the same time, you will get the opportunity to work closely with the people making the product and business decisions, and see your work move from an idea to something being used in the real world.

Location This is an onsite role from our Kakkanad, Kochi office.

2. A detailed technical discussion around your fundamentals, projects and development approach

We are not interested in making candidates go through five rounds of interviews or solving random algorithm puzzles that have nothing to do with the job.
